Had a long, wet weekend in Pukehina with the Hurlstone and Thompson side of the family. Cabin fever didn't set in too much, Luke and Milo ran around madly together and had loads of fun. Milo got up-close-and-personal with Ruby dog and Oscar dog - Milo is fearless. Ed and I managed to persuade Justine out for an 18km (or was it 14km) bike ride in a howling gale, Ed mustered the courage to run for two hours on Sunday while I only just struggled through 30minutes. Lovely to see everyone.
The international film festival is on in Auckland and Ed and I are making the most of it. I have taken the day off work and we are going to two films today while Milo is at daycare. And another tomorrow, while friends look after the grub.
Taupo half marathon coming up on 2 August, Ed and I are both running while my parents babysit. Then it is the Newbigin's turn, first a weekend in Miranda together then in September another half marathon in Taupo while Granny and Jim keep Milo busy. Thank you all in advance for being so generous with your time. We love you all.
More photos coming soon.

Dancing in Rarotonga
MIlo was the only one who turned up to the resort's music and dancing activity. He didn't mind though - he was born to dance.
